Drawing on his background in woodwork and design, Fox demonstrates a superior craftsmanship
of material. The pure and exacting lines give way to gently curved segments that
expand and contract as the moebius shapes take their form.
Fox treats the internal space within the lines as a form in itself, so that the two
elements complement each other in a harmonic motion.
The clean white inner surfaces of some of the pieces bring to mind the work of Hepworth,
but here the forms have a sense of continuous movement. These ribbon-like forms offer
endless perspectives, allowing you to view the flowing and evolving journey of a
line.
